Introducing $0.05 Rounding For Cash Transactions
As you may have heard, the United States will be officially ending production of pennies in the beginning of 2026. This has caused businesses to stockpile pennies making these coins increasingly rare (and honestly, a bit of a pain to track down). To keep transactions smooth and avoid those pesky pennies, Round 2 Gaming will begin using a $0.05 rounding policy on all cash purchases, starting Friday, October 10, 2025.
Here’s how it’ll work:
- Totals ending in $0.01 or $0.02 → rounded down to the nearest $0.00
- Totals ending in $0.03 or $0.04 → rounded up to the nearest $0.05
- Credit, debit, and mobile payments will still be charged exact totals—no rounding needed!
This small change helps us keep the checkout line moving faster so you can get back to your games, battles, and booster packs without delay.
